Installing pyobjc from local snapshot using pip

Issue #18 resolved
Kunal Parmar created an issue

The dependencies between the various components prevent installation from a local snapshot. See for details.

A workaround I found is in the comments at If that seems like a reasonable fix, I'll submit a patch. Please let me know!

This might be fixed in the repository, the requirements file in the github issue works on my machine.

The workaround mentioned in the github comment wouldn't be not good enough. The 'setup_requires' line was added to avoid odd traceback when a user installs a framework wrapper without having pyobjc-core installed.

I might end up removing the setup_requires lines in a future version anyway because that seems to cause "easy_install pyobjc==2.4a0" to install the pyobjc-core package multiple times. You'll end up with a working installation, but installing does take a lot of time.
