You caught us doing some quick maintenance, temporarily restricting your repository to read-only access.
Issue #158 resolved
The error is:
libjvm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
R CMD javareconf -e
solves the problem.
It is otherwise caused by the fact the command
R is a shell script that sets few things before running a binary,
R is tweaking LD_LIBRARY_PATH with this "sub"-script:
cat `R RHOME`/etc/ldpaths
