Q: Is %R being phased out?

Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere.

I found the usage of %R and %%R in IPython/Jupyter in rpy2 2.4.x's documentation (http://rpy.sourceforge.net/rpy2/doc-2.4/html/interactive.html), but I couldn't find any mentions in rpy2 2.8.x's documentation (http://rpy2.readthedocs.io/en/version_2.8.x/interactive.html). Does this mean %R is being phased out?

    I have no idea how this happened, but it was there in 2.4 and the text is actually all still there... doc/interactive.rst includes:

    .. automodule:: rpy2.ipython.rmagic

    And there are still docs at the top of rpy/ipython/rmagic.py. There are also automodule sections in graphics.rst and robjects_rpackages.rst. These also appear broken.

    I guess something changed about the doc build process that broke automodule. I wonder if this is due to the somewhat unusual fact that rpy2 is found in a directory called rpy?

    I'll stop digging for now in case this makes it obvious to you...
