box2d - Joint Limits

ndyck
created an issue

box2d has been supporting joint limits for some time. I know that at least the revolute joint supports joint limits. It would be nice to have two optional arguments on the newRevoluteJoint function to specify min and max joint angles.

Oops, my bad. I should have searched the wiki more thoroughly. thanks.

EDIT: actually I'm now wondering why you can't specify the limits on construction. Can you explain?

I think in this case it's more a matter of: where does one draw the line? If you can specify the limits of a Revolute Joint in its constructor, why not its motor speed? What about the max motor torque?

It'd probably be a bit of a mess to have all that in the constructor, IMO. Having everything able to be specified in a single function call isn't always a good thing. :)
