Problems adding/removing columns

I opened the cards for a new repo; only a few issues, all NEW. I tend to use NEW to denote a planning/requirements determination phase, and OPEN to mean it's ready to start coding. I therefore tried to add a column called "Ready", showing issues with a status of OPEN and a blank assignee field. Nothing happened, so I assumed that it had failed, and tried again. Nothing happened again. I refreshed the page to be sure, and then tried again.

Several attempts and refreshes later, all of a sudden all of the columns appeared - I now have five columns called "Ready". Attempting to delete them sometimes says "Column removed", and sometimes says "Communication error". Either way, no columns are removed. Sometimes when I refresh the page, all custom columns disappear and I just get the original four, but a few refreshes later they all reappear.

I'm setting this to "major" because it renders the whole system pretty much unusable for me - which is a shame, because it looks like exactly what I've been after for a while.
