Add new column, moves all resolved issues to that column

When I add a new column, it moved all the issues that were in the resolved column to the new column.

I'm having this issue as well. Created a "staged" column and now all resolved issues get shifted to that column after a period of time. It's been about a year since this issue was raised, has there been any fix for it?
