Creating versions fails

Not sure if it's at all related to the fact that I was creating new versions in /evzijst/rand but I see a who heap of 500s:

your version was created, but the /latest/... endpoint is polling for the latest update to an issue in this version, and because there are no issues in the version it was borking.
