Inconsistent behavior for left and right distance slider in flex plot

In the flex plot, if you adjust the left distance slider, the origin of the plot stays at zero, and the slider blanks out points as the distance increases. If you adjust the right slider, the maximum value of the x-axis changes effectively zooming the plot to the portion of interest.

It would be better if the left slider changed the minimum value of the x-axis.

This is only if using "distance" on the x axis. All axes except time have a fixed minimum and maximum to prevent outliers from messing up the zoom. Only for distance and time, I scale from 0 to maximum of the zoom factor. I could change that for distance
