Intervals workouts from C2 logbook have wrong total distance
Have a look at https://rowsandall.com/rowers/workout/de8d1dc8/ for an example. Rest meters and work meters are correct but total does not include rest meters.

hmm ok. I see on C2 that they also only show the work meters in the workout list, but they do include total (w+r) meters in their summaries/charts of total meters for a better picture of total volume. That is my main concern is making sure total volume is tracked. What do you suggest?

“What do you suggest?” Not to be a smart ass, but I would suggest getting workouts to rowsandall using 3rd party recording apps and then exporting to the C2 log from R. Granted it involves an extra step but it avoids the annoying way that the C2 logbook treats intervals/rest.

This was from a 3rd party app, Asensei, that does not export to R. I like the app because it figures out what my pacing should be from prior workouts and keeps me honest for the hard workouts. Sure I could figure out the pacing myself by adding x secs to my 2k or 5k splits but this makes it easier and adjusts as I go. I also like the commentary from Eric Murray and their other coaches and I subscribe to their connected coaching product.
Anyhow as I mentioned above my main goal is to make sure that R is tracking total volume of work even if it is not displayed in the workout list. -
repo owner There is a fix prepared for the next release. This will only change the meters logged of future workouts.

We are following the C2 Logbook API here. The C2 API gives the work meters as the total distance. I could change it, but that might lead to complaints from other users.
