Analysis select user interface refinement for box plot

If you choose a specific analysis (box plot in this case) you are brought to the analysis Select page. This allows you to set the date range, workout type, and filter for key words. There are also choices for type of analysis and metric.

There is a single “submit” button. I suggest that the logic of the page would be clearer if there was a “Filter workouts button underneath the “Filter by keyword” text field, and then a “Do Analysis” button with the Analysis type and metric fields. The only way to get the down filtered workouts is to do an analysis on a bogus set of workouts which generates a wasted chart, but also the right workout set to choose workouts from.

Also, start date parameter is not being used after initial set of workouts is selected. In order to restrict the date range, all workouts have to toggled off, and then a bogus “Submit” pressed, then the new date range will be in force.

Some AJAX calls could make this super reactive, i.e. just like in the Performance manager, the list auto updates when you change something in the form on the left.
