Compare Statistics For Different Time Periods

Issue #84 on hold
Michael McGuirk created an issue

I find significant usefulness in comparing stats for different time periods, e.g. today's workout vs year-to-date stats. To make this easier, my idea is to do away with the statistics button on the Edit page and put it all under the Analysis button. Under that button I would suggest having two of everything. Two date pickers, two side-by-side columns of metrics and two stacked correlation matrix tables. In addition, I'd suggest a check list like the one now for workout types but for the particular metrics that would be displayed, e.g. no Empower, un-check those metrics. I think two columns of metrics could be squeezed together in the same real estate on the left of the page leaving room for stacked charts on the right.

Not "badly". Since I wrote that back in February, we have additional "compare" features for one-vs-one (or two or three) workouts (I'm thinking of team multi-compare) and the box plot which looks at trends over time. So I am happy.
