Has TOTOLINK A1000UA with MEDIATEK 7610, used your driver and work normally on ubuntu 15.10 kernel 4.2.0.35-generic. After upgrade, cannot work anymore. Re-make and install, still not working. The light not shown up either. LSUSB show the device.

I have had a similar experience with the 7610u driver using anCisco/Linksys AE6000 dongle on an AMD 64 bit desktop under Linux Mint 18. The dongle and drivers work fine under Mint 17.3 in dual band mode. In Mint 18, after installing the driver ( files were loaded to lib/modules/ .../kernel/net/usb and /etc/WIreless/RT2870, it seems to be loaded by udev when the dongle is inserted but the dongle led doesn't come up and no Wifi connection comes up. Issueing sudo ifconfig rao up followed bysudo service network-manager restart brings the dongle led and WiFi up, but only on the 2.4Ghz band. Changing the Wireless Mode ( tried 8,9,13,14) in the RT2870STA.dat file in /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA then removing and reinstalling the driver with modprobe did not change this. Also tried shutdown/restart of Linux after these changes as well to no avail.

I already have this problem during make. Following error seems to be the problem: /home/eilers/Downloads/Archer_T2U_V1_150901/mediatek_mt7610u_sta_driver_linux-64bit/os/linux/../../chips/rtmp_chip.c:910:30: error: assignment from incompatible pointer type [-Werror=incompatible-pointer-types] pChipOps->ChipSwitchChannel = Default_ChipSwitchChannel; ^
