Thanks so much for all your work on this, I've been looking everywhere for a driver for this AE6000. I was able to get your driver to work on my 64bit desktop. Do you know what changes I'd need to make to get it to work on 32bit Lubuntu?

Nevermind, I got it to work with by modifying the original MT7610u driver as suggested here. http://superuser.com/questions/738096/how-to-install-mediatek-mt7610u-rt2860-driver
