MT7610U USB connects using WirelessMode 13 and 15 but won't communicate
I've managed to install the drivers in my 64-bit Ubuntu successfully. The Windrew MT7610U adapter is from Amazon http://goo.gl/QNU6vH does get recognized in Ubuntu Vivid kernel 3.19.0-31 (Zorin OS 10) on my Lenovo Y550 laptop for both 5ghz and 2.4ghz, but only seems to communicate wireless via 2.4ghz. Yes, I set the WirelessMode to 13 and I have the ability to select the 5Ghz mode and get the router connected. It will connect in 5ghz mode and get the network settings from the router, but for some reason fails to communicate with my Netgear AC1450. It will work flawlessly if I use WirelessMode=10 in 5Ghz mode.

I edited and saved the file /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA/RT2870STA.dat and used WirelessMode 10 and rebooted and now it connects and communicates in 5ghz mode, but it seems to be at a slower rate 135Mbs vs 325Mbs.
