Relative paths and keepass placeholder (as {APPDIR} or custom fields) allow to save portability of application. Examples (for Volume File | Partition | Harddrive field):

{APPDIR}..\..\..\CommonFiles\hidden.tc

or

..\..\..\CommonFiles\hidden.tc
