I would suggest to give him space and girlfrjend what your gut says. Maybe he's just a scumbag and lied to you. Just forget him and move on with your life! Sadly, that is not how the world works, and therefore, we are all forced to go through this same sequence of events at least a few times when attempting to find our mate. It's not that I don't care about the other person.
