relion_particle_sort crashes if used on rescaled particles

Hi,

I tried to use relion_particle_sort after auto picking and extraction. The references I used for auto picking had a box size of 400, pixel size 1.255; I extracted in a box size of 512 and rescaled to 128 with an original pixel size of 1.0475.

When I try to run particle sorting vs the autopicking references, I get the attached error, complaining that the reference image size doesn't match the particle image size. I shouldn't think it would need to, so I am guessing this is a bug - perhaps in this case because my references are larger than the box size of the rescaled particles? Or did I do something stupid?

incidentally I get the same message if I put in a star file for the references, rather than a stack

This also happens if the reference and the particles are the same size - e.g. in this case both the particles and the reference are box size 64, but the reference size is incorrectly reported by relion_particle_sort as 66.

We are deprecating particle sorting. I am afraid to say that this remains unsupported.
