relion_2Dto3D_star.py issue
Following 2D classification, the script relion_2Dto3D_star.py creates an empty output_2Dto3D.star file. The script can't parse the new comment "# RELION; version 3.0-beta-2" that's inserted in the beginning of Select/class2D/particles.star. Deletion of this comment resolves the problem.

reporter Thanks, Takanori. The updated script you linked to is the one I wrote about. It ignores all the whitespace and comment lines. However, there's an extra indent (a single space) in the code block starting at line 59 that needs to be removed. FYI, the main RELION subtomogram averaging page links to the old "relion_2Dto3D_star.py" script: https://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/relion/index.php?title=Sub-tomogram_averaging
