Where ever possible, shorter names should be preferred. In particular, you can't get to the automagic subspecies prediction if you can't get the species to rise to the top.

    ... though this only really happens for me in species entry, because Yellow-rumped Warbler is abundant here and Yellow Warbler not so much. In "Browse by species", Yellow Warbler is preferred. Still, both are common enough that I think they should likely flip places when very specific abbreviations are given.
