Random text on version 14.02

I just downloaded version 14.02 for Windows 10. It worked okay the first time but on every subsequent re-opening all of the text is completely random and incomprehensible. The random text even appears on the start up picture when the programme is loading. The only normal text at present is on the menus. I've tried reinstalling but still get the same problem.

Communicated with the user, and it looks like the next update of Scythebill will resolve this.

(Maaaaybe an incompatibility between Java 8 and the user's video driver.)
