Data loss for visit info (Edit Sightings + Back)

I’m afraid that I have stumbled across what seems to be a rather nasty bug in Scythebill 14.4.5. I have also updated to 14.5.0 and the issue is also present in that latest version. This is how I have made the problem appear:

From main menu, choose "Browse by location"
Jump to any location, e.g. United States (North America)
Click on any visit, check that information is present in the Comments box and associated fields (rightmost pane)
Click on "Edit sightings" button
Click on "< Back" button (as if wanting to check something in the comments while editing the sightings):

the comments box (and associated fields) are blank instead of showing the information that was visible earlier.
Worse, if I go back to the sightings by clicking the "Next >" button, finish editing my sightings and click "Done", the blank fields are saved and the information that was visible at (3) is now gone!
