Paste into OpenOffice from Family Report doesn't work
The text from the family report is entered into the clipboard without cr/lf, so it looks like one big string and can’t be pasted into OpenOffice calc. This is on Windows 10 and 15.2.3. Also, the report displayed on the screen is not in a standard text box that I can copy from - it’s weird to be able to select everything but not copy it.
It’s not too easy to fix this either because there are spaces throughout, although it’s not that hard, so I can get what I want right now.
What I’m looking for is a report of families that I have no sightings for. Could you add a report of ‘Targets’? Maybe target species or target families?

Commit 6d4dbbe2f should fix the problem of “one big string without cr/lf”.

Remainder requires adding an extra option - annoyingly, I do include enough information for OpenOffice to do the right thing, it just needs to decide to prefer plain text over HTML.

Apple Numbers does a good job already; Google Sheets does a bad job. Don’t have access to Windows Excel to test that.

Aha - an easy-ish workaround (at least in the next version, when the fix for cr/lf gets in): paste into an unstyled text editor first (e.g. Notepad?). Then copy the text in Notepad, and paste into OpenOffice. Voila:

“Select everything but not copy it” - yes, you definitely can copy. There’s no copy/paste menu, but standard shortcuts (ctrl-c) do work.
“Families that I have no sightings for”: create a family report, and sort by either “most recorded” or “greatest fraction”. Scroll to the bottom, and there’s your list.
I can look for a way to improve OpenOffice paste here, though.
