Species auto-completion by scientific name is broken

Go to Browse by Species. Start entering a genus. No results.

Oddly, if you enter "pod" you get Polynesian Ground-Dove followed by "Gallicolumba erythroptera"; so somehow it's toString()'ing as if it were a scientific name, but not looking up in the right indexer it seems.
