Cut/Copy/Paste menu items disabled (non-MacOS)

Go to most parts of the program (e.g. Browse by species). Select a sighting. Now click the Edit menu. Cut/copy are disabled... which is wrong.

This doesn't repro on MacOS (though it will with the cross-platform JAR)

Probable workaround: use ctrl-X,ctrl-C,ctrl-V instead of the menu.
