Subspecies sightings missing from Browse by species when level is set to "group"

Original issue 81 created by adam_winer on 2013-02-28T17:21:24.000Z:

1. Browse by species 2 Set "Show..." to groups
2. Try to view a species where sightings have been assigned to a subspecies (and there are no groups)

Nothing shows... but the species does appear in black, indicating there are species.
