Classic mode laps remaining

In the classic mode of gpxsat, would it be possible to add the laps remaining to the director's cut mode?
As the laps remaining is placed at the same position as the standings/gaps in the classic mode, it's currently never shown unless enabled, in which case one doesn't see the standings/gaps anymore though.
For example that it is one of the infos displayed when crossing the s/f line (alternating with the standings), shown less frequent in the first half of a race, and more often towards the end.
