Force feedback issue
Both GP3 and GP4 have force feedback issues when run with gpxpatch:
When no or very few feedback force should be applied, the wheel jerks/tremble a lot. It happens in long straights, or even with the car standing still: when leaving pits or waiting on the grid.
The bug seems to happen only on new PC hardware, old and new wheels seem affected (G25, G27 or T300RS). I discovered the issue when buying a new computer in 2020, I didn’t have any problem before. Happens on win7 & 10.
I tried a lot of external tools like dxWnd to see if it could solve the issue, but nothing seem to work. I have deactivated all extensions in gpxpatch and the issue is still there.
I can share a video showing the issue if needed. I really don’t understand the link between FFB and gpxpatch.
I have no other tools (gp4tweaker or csm used). Issue happens with a vanilla install, patch 9.6 and gpxpatch.
