SCMManager installed from Debian package still shows old version after upgrade

After upgrading SCMManager 1.51 installed from Debian package, Web UI still shows this version in lower right corner after upgade to 1.53, even after service restart.

    Ok, i was able to reproduce the issue. The problem seems to be, that the work directory is not cleaned.

    Workaround:

    • stop scm-server
    • remove /var/cache/scm/work/webapp directory
    • start scm-server

    Now you should see the new version. I will add a post-script which removes this folder automatically during a package upgrade.
