Hi, we are facing this critical issue for the larger repo. currently we are using git version 2.12.3 and scm manager 1.54

  • We are completely uploaded and fine
  • The requested URL returned error: 502 Proxy Error
  • Closing connection 0 error: RPC failed; HTTP 502 curl 22 The requested URL returned error: 502 Proxy Error

    I've deleted the attached log file from the issue, because it contained your username and password (base64 encrypted from the basic auth). You should change your password as soon as possible, because the log file could be read by anyone.

    The scm-server_err.txt shows a OutOfMemoryError. You have to add more memory to the SCM-Manager process. How did you installed it?

    Hi Sebastian, we are having 4GB RAM for the server which is running on a VM. This issue occurs only for large repo of 6GB. this issue doesnot occur for smaller git repo.

    regarding installation- it is installed on SLES 12- scm-server-1.54-app.tar.gz

    running on jetty. kindly advise.

    Could you please test increasing the memory of the scm process? Just set the JAVA_OPTS environment variable before starting scm-server e.g.:

    export JAVA_OPTS="-Xmx2048m"
    /path/to/scm/bin/scm-server

    Hi Sebastian, I tried, this is not helping. Seeing the same error. even i tried editing scm-server to mention JAVA_OPTS="-Xmx2048m" and restarted the service. But, facing the same issue. can we have a goto meeting , if that is feasible for you?.
