Merged cells are treated as separate values not one

Steps: 1. Create 3x6 table 2. Merge first 3 rows of first and second columns 3. create pivot table 4. Select Count option for second column Expected results: Total Count: 3 Actual result: Total Count: 6 (see picture attached

The issue was on Table Filter plugin not Pivot Table plugin
