Release Source Code for Test Insight

Issue #105 wontfix
Ben Brandt created an issue

Consider releasing the source code for Test Insight under a permissive open source license.

This would allow others to contribute PR's for desired functionality and give additional protection for companies that would like to start depending on the tool but are not sure if it will be maintained in the future.

    Hi Benjamin,

I have been asked this before and my answer was and still is: no - won't happen. I already give the tool away for free - something others would easily ask money for - simply because I don't depend on it and like to make lives easier for other developers and TestInsight achieves that.

However I keep the code for the IDE integration itself private to retain control and prevent any unintentional usage.

The company thing is a strawman argument imo - if that is however different for your company feel free to contact me privately about the subject.

    Regards
