Shortcut to go to root

Sometimes I'm lost in my hierarchy and it would be nice to go back to the root context at the click of a button (or keyboard shortcut).

I agree there should be a key.

Still, the root is supposed to be always (or almost always) visible and clickable. If it's not visible, you should be able to trace back to it because the nodes between the focus and the root each get a white border. I'm thinking the border is not prominent enough. Try playing around with this CSS class: simple-view-trace-root and see what works better for you.

As an additional thought, the background was dark when I chose white as the trace highlight. The white border probably doesn't work as well when the background is light.
