Also, force SSL (https) access through the proxy to avoid folks sending passwords in unencrypted traffic.

SSL access is now available on port 8443 at shc.earlyprint.org:8443 .

Sorry, the proxy is not yet working over SSL.

Both the SSL proxy and redirecting non-SSL to SSL traffic appears to be working properly now.
