Check that sending mail from SHC app works.

We need to test email sending from the SHC app to make sure it works. The email is needed for folks registering on the site.

Also check that the contents of the sign-up message received in email look OK.

N.B. This depends on SSL implementation into exist, and deployment of the SSL enabled Apache proxy.
