jfxDeploy - Default platforms for installers

Hi, I've just played around with the javafx-gradle plugin and every task works without errors. However, if I got it right, the jfxDeploy task should deploy installers for various platforms, like Windows, Mac and Linux? I'm using debian testing with IntelliJ IDEA and the jfxDeploy task only creates a .deb file under build/distributions, but no .rpm, .exe or .dmg file. I've tried it with my own application and some of the sample applications. Any ideas?

First, you can only create native installers for the native platform you are on. To get an .dmg you need to build on mac, for a .exe you need to build in windows.

Second, it only build the native apps for which the native tools are installed. In your case ubuntu only installs the .deb toolchain, there is a separate toolchain for rpm tools. Once you install that it should sniff it out and use those. There is a chart here: https://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/deployment/self-contained-packaging.htm#A1324980 - while the docs are for Java 7 the prerequisites are still the same.
