Debian RFS / ITP

Currently there is the attempt to offically include xnoise with debian.

Tal Hadad is taking care of this.

Until now, we didn't find a sponsor for the xnoise debian package. A sponsor, who is an official debian developer (DD), is necessary to approve the xnoise package for official inclusion into debian.

Debian Packages

However, we already have our own debian packages build from our releases (for 'debian testing' and lintian clean).

You can download and install them from the download page.

The tarballs for download are containing xnoise, xnoise-plugins and xnoise-dev .deb files for amd64 architecture. A debian source package is available. Tal also maintains a ´*.deb file creation script in xnoise's root folder ("package_chef.sh").
