Game engine circa 2001-2002

  • Compiles under VS 6.0 - VS 2008
  • Added a new build system for VS 2010

Build instructions

  1. Compile modules solution first (Modules/Modules.sln)
  2. Then the test applications

VS 2010 way 1) Open 'engine_all.sln' and build 'AllModules' project first

Requirements

  1. DirectX SDK 9 (configured in VS)
  2. NASM (optional)

Conversion

Following test applications are converted

  1. TriangleStartup - Startup code and custom mesh rendering
  2. SampleApp - mesh object loading
