Option to reverse the left/right-click behavior for small pencil button (edit referenced ScriptableObject assets)

Issue #550 open

To me, it’s weird that left-click is used instead of right-click to open the ScriptableObject in a new pane. I use right-click far more often, and it seems like the least disruptive action of the the two, which is why I would prefer if those two clicks were reversed. An option could be provided in the preferences in order to not disrupt users who are already comfortable with the current behavior.

"to open the ScritpableObject in a new pane" What do you mean by that exactly?

If I understand your suggestion correctly, then the problem is, that the Unity editor with Odin install is a mixture of Odin and Unity editors, so if we introduced such a feature, there would still be a lot of places where it wouldn't work. Making it inconsistent. But if Unity decided to introduce and option like that, we would as well.

I mean this feature implemented by Odin Inspector. I suggest adding a preference to switch the function of left and right clicking on the pencil button.
