Project Validator -> 'Select Object' only selects MainAsset for ScriptableObjects with sub-objects that failed validation

After having scanned all assets, clicking ‘Select Object’ for ScriptableObjects with sub-objects (added via AssetDatabase.AddObjectToAsset) only the parent is getting selected (the main asset) which is not very helpful with many sub-objects that need to be managed and one of them producing the error.
'Ping Object' correctly highlights the sub-object though atleast.
