Issue #1909 resolved

Strange message during hg push

Mikhail Korobov
created an issue

I pushed some changes to bitbucket and got an error message:

{{{ remote: pushing to ssh://hg@bitbucket.org/leogluzman/nadovmeste/ remote: searching for changes remote: remote: adding changesets remote: remote: adding manifests remote: remote: adding file changes remote: remote: added 2 changesets with 2 changes to 2 files remote: remote: bb/acl: kmike is allowed. accepted payload. remote: remote: quota: 5.6 MB in use, 1.0 GB available (0.55% used) remote: remote: error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo' }}}

Though it seems that changes are pushed.

I also got this error (in hg 1.4.3 Ubuntu package), and never got it before this week. Looks like this is a bug on the BitBucket side. This is my console output:

    adding changesets
    adding manifests
    adding file changes
added 1 changesets with 23 changes to 23 files
error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo'

Same issue for me, is there a known resolution for this?

remote: adding changesets remote: adding manifests remote: adding file changes remote: added 1 changesets with 1 changes to 1 files remote: error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo'

I am also facing this ! Ubuntu 10.04, Hg 1.4.3 pushing to http://bitbucket.org/bdsatish/comsigproc adding changesets adding manifests adding file changes added 2 changesets with 8 changes to 8 files error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo'

I also get this on one of my repos but not another. Don't know if its related since its often flaky, but the email Service that forwards commit messages does not seem to be working either.

  5. David Treves

One of my developers gets that all the time when pushing changesets to BB. All pushes go through, but if we could remove that error it'd feel better. Especially when it's our code on the line, which I wouldn't want to take any chance of risking it..

    Thanks!

Same issue here, either comitting with tortoise or the windows command shell, on two different repositories. Just comiited two minutes ago.

error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo'

    I get this error

  8. nureineide

I also get this error, but I only started seeing it, after the network outage on tuesday 5th August. Thought, that might help with the search.

  9. Anubisss

    Same issue here.

And when I got that error message, CIA service doesn't work.

I tried to recreate the repo and works fine for some days(2-3) and again(now) broken.

  10. Anubisss

I forgot to mention my system:

Windows XP, 32 bit Mercurial Distributed SCM (version 1.5.4) - not tortoise HG

btw: Now the error message seems to be dissapeared and CIA works fine, but another error: remote: couldn't reach oberon: error(111, 'Connection refused')

Fortunatelly, the change is pushed fine.

Here all are posting the issue. All are facing the same problem including me. But how to get rid of it?

  12. David Parrott

Also if it helps any the push to that repo did not show up in my recent news feed.

A push since to a different repo did not display the error and has shown in my news feed.

    same here

camilo@macbooksito:/Development/skywriter$ hg push pushing to https://camilo@bitbucket.org/camilo/skywriter searching for changes http authorization required realm: Bitbucket.org HTTP user: camilo password: adding changesets adding manifests adding file changes added 1 changesets with 0 changes to 0 files error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo

Another issue is related with directories that I have in my disk and I already push them to bitbucket but they don't appear in bitbucket and hg status doesn't show me nothing to push

I've moved everyone over from fe01 to bfg02. If anyone sees this issue (and please check that it's on one of the bfg's, look in the lower right corner of the page for the repository), then report back here.

  15. Jeremy Sandell

I received this error about 5 minutes ago, on bfg01:

error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo'

    I'm using hg v1.4.3

  16. Darkrabbit

I received this error on bfg02:

error: changegroup.csetlog hook raised an exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_repo'

    TortoiseHg (version 1.1)

    But my question is:

My last push with this error Work Fine?

    Thanks

  17. Ruymán Reyes Castro

I am on bfg01, and received same error, on Ubuntu 10.04 and Hg. 1.4.3, while pushing changes to bitbucket.

I've made a push yesterday without problems. Today push only have a new file, no other changes. The file have been added to the repo without problems, and I was able to pull it from another machine properly.

  18. Roger Gammans

Yup. I've still got this issue. All my repos seem to be on bfg02.
