It would be convenient if I can reply to the issue notification mail directly to add some comments instead of opening up a web browser.

I researched a bit in this issue and found these links:

    - How to split models.py < http://stackoverflow.com/questions/859192/about-20-models-in-1-django-app/859222#859222

    - Django tips: laying out an application < http://www.b-list.org/weblog/2006/sep/10/django-tips-laying-out-application/

Should the parsers be an app? I was thinking to move all our parsers to a separate project. Remember the StripNonValidXMLCharacters is a Java script and the PPM has some Perl scripts to handle with mbox files.

Description: Separate the core, scripts and ui from current implementation of Mentor. I feel confused with how things are distributed in the application sometimes.

Maybe I just don't know enough about Django and its architecture but I think is valuable to investigate this.

    Hi,

I get exactly the same thing. I'm currently researching if it's possible to email in an issue to a tracker I have on a public repo, and came across this.....would be nice to get this function fixed......

    Hi,

Replies to the issue tracker work now. We overlooked this when migrating Bitbucket off EC2. DNS for "reply.bitbucket.org" was never updated. I updated it yesterday, tweaked our scripts for mail pickup, waited for DNS to updat, and tested it today.

    Regards,

    Charles

I tried this about 40 minutes ago. The comment didn't get added and I've not received any bounce back of the email (yet).

Also, it's a bit confusing that the email address is issues-noreply@... perhaps this should be changed?

It seems this doesn't work for emails containing Chinese characters, even for issues with pure English subject.

Emails with only ASCII characters works fine for the same repository.

What headers are used to identify messages? We have messages going to an internal mailing list, but replies after mailing list indirection (which does not drop `issue-reply@`) do not appear in the issue tracker. Only direct replies to `issue-reply@`'s message appear. Can the matcher either be made more permissive or can you explain how it works so we can configure the list to preserve whatever is necessary?

Any body still watching this issue? I'm now facing the same problem. I use a gmail account, got no reply and no comment in the issue I replied.
