Issue #2861 resolved

import directly from svn repository

astroup
created an issue

I am trying to import an svn repository to bit bucket.

For some reason, my url is not being accepted. It is in the format

svn://[url]/[repository name]

Please let me know if there is something I am missing.

    Hi astroup,

    Can you be more specific? Can you either provide a screenshot that contains any relevant errors, or (better yet) post the url?

    N.B. If you don't feel comfortable pasting that URL publicly, you can email me directly at: erik@bitbucket.org

    Cheers, Erik

    Hi Adrianne,

    Were you able to import the repository? Note that we used to display "not a valid URL" message instead of "authorization required" in the importer form, but it got fixed. Maybe that was the issue you ran into?

    Closing this as resolved, please reopen it if the issue persists.

    I ended up giving up, but this may have been the issue. I will try again and let you know.
