Issue #4218 resolved

conq: invalid repository syntax.

created an issue

Hi,

When doing:

ssh -C hg@bitbucket.org "hg -R my_user_name/sillyrepos"

I get the response:

conq: invalid repository syntax.

The original command was:

hg clone ssh://hg@bitbucket.org/my_user_name/sillyrepos which echos running ssh -C hg@bitbucket.org "hg -R my_use_name/sillyrepos serve --stdio"

Then I tried running the command directly, ssh -C hg@bitbucket.org "hg -R my_use_name/sillyrepos serve --stdio"

and get this error. "conq: invalid repository syntax."

Any idea what "conq: invalid repository syntax." means or how to debug this. googling this phrase did not turn too much up.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggesting.

    Same issue with GIT

    -------------------------------------

    $ git push -u origin master -v
    Pushing to ssh://git@bitbucket.org/copyhold/bingocarrental.com.git
    conq: invalid command syntax.
    fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

    --------------------------------------

    $ ssh -T git@bitbucket.org
    conq: logged in as copyhold.

    You can use git or hg to connect to Bitbucket. Shell access is disabled.

    Seems not an SSH issue.

    This was due to come client applications having a unique default for at least git-receive-pack. We've changed our system to handle the new default some Git clients now choose to use.

    Marcus, can you go into detail about what "some client applications having a unique default for at least git-receive-pack" means ? I'm still getting this error with dulwich+paramiko and have no idea where to debug/what to change.
