Issue #6461 open

Set default email and notifications based on repo (BB-7637)

It would be nice to be able to set email notifications as well as the default email address on a per repo basis.

For instance, if I have personal repos I would like those email notifications to go to my personal email account. For my repos shared with me from work, the notifications would be best served to my work email.

Thanks

    Hi Jordan,

Thanks for reporting. I've added this to our backlog. I don't expect this to be implemented in the near future, but if more users request this feature we will consider it in the future.

We generally suggest that if you would like to achieve this, you should create two accounts one for you personal repositories and one for work.

    Cheers, Brian

I would like it as well. I use bitbucket for both personal and work projects and don't want the work emails going to my personal account.

I've created two accounts to get around this issue but that isn't ideal.

This would be pretty sweet indeed. I found this because I was searching for a way to do exactly this.

Opening another account is a no go - people who work on various repositories don't want to have to constantly log out from one account and log in to another, it's just not practical.
