import existing git repository to teams

I think it would be a great feature and a much needed one as teams was a late arrival, to allow the import of existing repositories into teams accounts.

    Hi Jack,

I'm not clear on exactly what it is you want, but you can import (or create) a repository and set the owner to be a team, and you can also transfer ownership of any repository to a team.

Hopefully one of those things gives you what you're looking for.

So, if I have an existing repository in my own account, I can change the ownership to a team?

If this is true how or where do you do this.

    Thanks for replying.
