If you could confirm: did Bitbucket give you an indication that the import failed? You should get an error message saying it failed and there should be more details in the log below.
It looks like your import failed because the connection to the remote repository timed out during the import. When an import fails, we clean up all the data on our end and we don't delete the empty repo on Bitbucket.
Could you try running the import again and see if it still fails? If it fails in the same way (due to a connection timeout), I recommend converting your repo locally and pushing it up to Bitbucket. You can read more about how to do that in this guide.
