Reassign issue requires editing issue (BB-8345)

Unless I'm missing something here, the only way to re-assign an issue is to edit the ticket and reassign it.

Why can't the ticket options (assignee, kind, priority) be included with the comment form?

We bounce issues back and forth all the time, which means that the comment form is completely useless.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    I agree that editing issues could be a bit more streamlined. The issue tracker isn't in our immediate development road map at the moment, but I've put in an issue for this in our internal backlog. We'll update this issue when there are new developments.

    I was also expecting this to be an option, but really forcing someone to comment on a reassignment is not so bad, otherwise it may bounce around for no reason.

    What is the status on this? As it would speed up things a lot if assigning issues to myself (or someone else) could be done without editing the issue in question.
