We are not currently accepting new OpenID signups

Hi,

I'm trying to get an openid account working. Management want to see if we can add 2 factor authentication, I think it should work with google account and google authenticator.

Sign up seems to work, but when I confirm my email address, I get:

"We are not currently accepting new OpenId signups" See attached screenshot

May be the documentation can be made a bit clearer.

Yes, I agree that we could be more clear, but the current situation is that we have stopped supporting OpenID. We continue to respect existing sessions, but are not allowing new ones.

If you aren't going to accept OpenID logins then you should:

    A) stop prompting for them B) change the error message to say "We have stopped supporting OpenID. We continue to respect existing sessions, but are not allowing new ones."

    Or both.
