Issue #8074 invalid

Bitbucket not showing source in Chrome 29.0.1547.66 on Windows

Hello -

I'm seeing a strange issue in Chrome where none of my source is displaying. Other things like the SSH/HTTPS clone links are also whitespace. I have attached some screenshots. I disabled all extensions tried again and it's still exhibiting the same behavior.

This is only happening on Chrome/Windows Version 29.0.1547.66 m. Chrome on Ubuntu 12.04 is working fine (with or without extensions).

Firefox, IE, etc. all are fine.

Hope this helps.

Regards - Jeff

I am experiencing the same issue as Jeff (completely blank source). To add on to what he says, this is what my diffs look like: Diff

In trying to diagnose it, I've made sure my zoom is 100% and disabled all extensions in Chrome.

    Version 29.0.1547.76 m running on Windows 8 x64

All files, but apparently not all computers. I just tried it on my home workstation (Windows 7, but same version of Chrome and same synced extensions) and it's working fine.

I've updated on the laptop it's happening on. I've also done a few more in-depth things that I didn't want to take the time to do today on company time:

In summary, the following steps have not corrected the issue:

    • Updating Chrome to 30.latest
    • Disabling all extensions
    • Disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome
    • Forcing Chrome to run on the dedicated rather than on-board graphics card
    • Comparing the HTML / CSS being fed from the server (identical)
    • Trying other WebKit-based browsers (they work fine)

I am no longer seeing the behavior, though I have no idea why. Chrome is now reporting v. 29.0.1547.76 m. Previously it was 29.0.1547.66 m when I reported the issue.
