Issue #8185 invalid

Wrong UTF-8 characters

Rodrigo Malacarne avatarRodrigo Malacarne created an issue

I'm uploading UTF-8 enconded codes to Bitbucket. Although I'm able to read everything correctly in the Bitbucket website (see image attached), when I download the code to my local machine I'm getting special characters wrongly converted (see image attached).

Is there any way to fix it?

    Hi Rodrigo,

When you say "download the code to [your] local machine", what do you mean by that? Downloading from the "Downloads" tab of your repo, cloning your repo, copying the raw file from the source view?

    Thanks, Zach
